perimeter and area

Kia ora Bloggers. In Te Ngahere, we have been doing the perimeter and area in maths. To get the answer you add the length of all the sides together for a perimeter for the area you X the length by the width. I found this pretty easy today so next time I might try different and harder worksheet. link

School diary

Kia ora Bloggers. In Te Ngahere, we have been doing summer learning journey from home. We have been making school diary templates, we use Canva to make the templates. I tried to make mine look like a normal school day. Here is mine. Does this look  similar to your school day?

Let us remember

Kia ora Bloggers. In Te Ngahere, we have been doing Anzac Activities where we had to pick a item out of a box and do the research on who owned that item and finding their serial number and if they died in action or not. we offered Anzac art where we made poppies add an Anzac soldier picture as well. To make the Poppy you will need a green pipe cleaner, red muffin cases and a black Sharpie.First you colour in a big dot in the middle of your muffin cases, then poke a hole in the middle of that black dot and feed the green pipe cleaner through. You might need a bead t hold your muffin cases incase it slides down the stem. To make the soldier poster you will need some dye, a Sharpie and some paper. First draw the landscape like the hills and then you would need to draw the soldier piece by piece like his legs and  his body and then his face and hat. Next his arms and draw the fence and then you colour in the soldier and his background also the crosses. Then you put your dye into a paint brush and paint it on in whatever way you want it to be! What did you make for Anzac?

Wicked fun

Kia ora Bloggers. during Lockdown my dad and I have been doing bike riding in the Waitangi mountain bike park. For Christmas I got an e bike so we can race around the park more often, my dad also has an e bike. My favourite track is Chaos Chaos Chaos because it is a downhill track with turns and table tops for doing jumps. On an average ride we would do about 23 kilometres. have you ever ridden an ebike ?
