We Went To The Top of New Zealand.

 Kia ora Bloggers. During the long weekend  my family and a friend went up to the top of New Zealand where the Lighthouse is. We drove to the car ferry in Rawene and while we were waiting for the car ferry we had lunch. When we got off the car ferry we headed to Ahipara which is where a batch would be waiting for us that we would stay on the beach.. When we finally got to the batch, we got changed and went swimming then we went back to the batch for another hour or two to get dressed and watch some YouTube. YouTube is little bit slow so we decided to play some Among Us. I got imposter 7 times in a row on my first day playing. We ate dinner on the beach and played a little bit more Among Us and went to bed. The second day we decided to drive on the beach because it's technically classed as a state highway. We were heading towards the sand dunes where we could get our boogie boards and ride them down, but we didn't have the right boards so we had to rent some. We went riding down the sand dunes a few times and then swimming again and heading off to Cape Reinga. The lighthouse was only a 10 minute drive and we can see the little lighthouse in the distance. We took a few photos on our way down, but when we got to the lighthouse it was a rush to get photos but we were able to get a few. It was a little bit of a drive to get back home because we couldn't take the state highway completely we had to take a little dirt road to get onto the different Highway because State Highway 1 was a little bit blocked. We ended up getting home and when I sat down on my bed it felt so good to be home not being cramped up in a car. Have you ever been up to the top of New Zealand?

T-Ball is Fun!

 Kia ora Bloggers. In Te Ngahere, we have been playing tee-ball. I like t-ball and that's kind of surprising because I don't really like many sports. I like it because it's a medium pace game and it's pretty simple to play. To play t-ball you are pitched the ball and you swing the bat to hit it. You run around the bases without being tagged out by the ball and you need to make it all the way around to home base. Do you like the sport of tee-ball?

Cross Country Is Back On!

 Kia ora Bloggers, last term we finally could do the school cross-country day as it had been postponed due to Covid 19 but because we are in Level 1 of Covid we could now go out and do it. Cross country was held on the last day of term 3  on Friday the 25th of September at the Bledisloe domain. I found the first leg of the race easy but once we started picking up the pace it was hard for me to catch back up. Do you like doing the cross country?

I Am Learning To Drive

During the school holidays I started to learn to drive in a Toyota Trueno. It's a bit old being a 1996 model but it does the job! We got it off one of my Dad's friends and he lent it to someone. When we got it back it was disgusting inside, full of rubbish. That was easy to clean up. He also managed to take a few fences out with the car, so one-half of the cars panels are beaten in by the boxing match with the fence. The car is an automatic so it makes it easier to learn because you don't have to keep on shifting gears. I've claimed this  as my car in the family and I am starting to do it up. What is your favourite car?

Road Trip

 

Kia ora Bloggers. During the school holidays my family flew down to Gisborne to purchase a new ute. On the road trip back up to the Bay of Islands we stopped at Rotorua for the night and did the luge in the morning. We also visited some thermal pools. The hotel that we were staying at even had thermal pool baths that you could take. Next stop was Auckland where we would stay the night again and go to the shopping malls and go to Game Over for a Go Kart race with my dad. At the hotel that we stayed, I could plug in my PS4 and jump online with my mates and play some games. After we were done in Auckland we would road trip back up to the Bay of Islands which would take us the full day, unlike Rotorua that took 3 to 4 hours. My favourite part of the trip was going to different places in New Zealand as the furthest I had been before was Auckland. 

                                                                                  

Finished Movie Making.

 Kia ora Bloggers, in Te Ngahere we have finished all of our Movie Making and we are currently watching them so we can enter them into the film festival. Our movie was Monster Chase.  My personal favourite movie was Almost Through. I found that it was easy to understand the movie. Reading  the script was hard. Have you ever made movies before?

 The Monster Chase

Script:

Narrator: In 1992 there were three young men that were on a  mission to  protect the city because it was under attack by the Cannibal man. The man was Big and Strong, The man was a romanian myth so people  thought it wasn’t real, until he thought they were all eaten. The cannibal monster ate people over and over again. He didn’t stop until  every human in the world was terminated.

Tyreece:  Oh Mum, my mates  are over we don’t wanna watch the news, it’s boring.close up

(Noise outside: glass smashing, heavily breathing behind the front door and the lights were flickering).

Monster/ Wairua: (lights flicker on and off then add teleporting sound then cannibal man teleports into room and then everyone starts yelling) .

Mother: OH MY GOD RUN KIDS! Close up

Cannibal man: BOO ( You better  run).  (Smashing the cars outside More Noise outside: Big storm)

Tyreece: I don’t  know, but don’t look back! Far back shot 

Logan: AAAAAAHHHH. Close up

3 2 1 Blast Off Update.

 Kia ora Bloggers, in Te Ngahere we have been doing Wonder Project. My teams rocket went 66.6 metres which is currently the class record. Our fins are circular in shape. Nothing broke off the rocket during the flight which is pretty surprising because we think it was in the air for at least 5 seconds. I found that launching the rocket was easy and exciting, but measuring how far the rocket went was hard because we kept on having to pull the measuring tape over and over.
