converting world currencies

Kia ora Bloggers. In Te Ngahere, we have been doing summer learning journey and today we had to compare prices from Auckland New Zealand to different countries around the world using the international currency converter. To fly to Canberra Australia would cost 871 New Zealand dollars , Tokyo Japan would cost 2,269 New Zealand dollars, Kuala Lumpar Malaysia would cost  2, 732, Abu Dhabi would cost  3, 268, Cape Town in South Africa would cost 2, 419, Berlin Germany would cost 3, 944 , London England would cost 2, 995, Santiago Chile would cost 3, 082, Mexico City would cost 6,264 and Ottawa Canada would cost 2,439.

The most cheapest place to fly from Auckland in New Zealand would be Canberra Australia, the most expensive place would be Mexico City.

My launcher

Kia ora Bloggers. In Te Ngahere, we have been doing summer learning journey and today we have created our own Airlines logos. My Airlines logo was called LEGO launcher. My idea is that it could be  Legos private Airline. Kids would be given a free LEGO set onboard that they could build on the flight or at their destination. Hope you enjoy my logo.

turbo touch

Kia ora Bloggers. In Te Ngahere, we have been playing a few games for the past few days. One of those games are called Turbo Touch. It’s a bit like rugby but it has different rules.  It’s a fast paced game with a lot of running around, interception, passing and blocking. Here are the Turbo Touch rules. I enjoyed the running around because I find it gets the class hyped up for the day. I feel like my team could work better and listen to each other better. What do you think about Turbo Touch?

Cool athletics day

Kia Ora Bloggers. At Paihia School we have had a athletics day a few weeks ago. The event was held at Bledisloe Domain. My favourite events were long jump and relays. I learnt how to do long job  Properly by not touching the mat and land on two feet in the same spot. I also thought I did pretty well in relays . It was a hot day thankfully at the food store they had juicies to buy and water refill.
